"What's funny, video Sprott - a conch Jojo's Daydream? I've watched many times, I think there's nothing funny than the video."
So wrote one of my friends on his Twitter account. He wondered why the video Sprott and Jojo sings Poison conch conversations suddenly become ubiquitous. Yet according to him, the video was not funny.
To help "straighten" his confusion, I say this to my friend,
"The video was diomongin not funny, but because the lipsync is cute girls and nodes are not ashamed Joged-Joged. The boys finished gemes. The song is also infectious, it immediately hear ringing in his head."
Do not argue at all, my friend immediately understood.
"Oh, Pantes," he said crisply.

"Conch Poison? What's that?"
If you're asking questions like this, do not worry. You are not alone. Dewi Lestari, via his Twitter account could write, "And for a moment I seriously thought the conch Poison is a video of a poisonous snail killing people and was caught on tape."
Novelist who is also a former personnel Rida-Sita-Dewi was thought conch snail venom is a video about toxic aka snail attacked and killed many people.
Poisons conch is actually the title song sung by koplo dangdut singer from Bandung named Lisa. The lyrics are a woman's expression of annoyance at the naughty boy who teased him. Previously, not many people know this song. But after two teenagers from Bandung geulis chose this song as accompanist their video on YouTube, the popularity of direct Poisons Conch rocketed!
According to an interview published in O Magazine, this video was originally made for personal purposes. Jojo Sprott and they want to record the action when it is lipsync (accordance mouthed lyrics, as though they were singing) this song, and put them on Facebook. Because the process of uploading on Facebook takes too long, Sprott and Jojo decided to upload it on YouTube, and then on to embed into Facebook.
Unexpectedly, the video titled SINTA conch TOXICITY AND JoJo turned out to watch hundreds of thousands of people and in-repost many times. Sprott's name became a byword and Jojo on internet forums, 'Conch Poisons' so Trending Topic on Twitter for a few days, their video aired on infotainment, Jojo even be a cover girl and immediately appeared on the cover of O Magazine published July 19, 2010. They both also admitted to O that there are already some producers who took the recordings.
All this just because a video for fun.
Amazing? Actually not really. In Indonesia, may Sprott and Jojo is the first YouTube superstar (Marshanda already famous before his controversial video uploading to YouTube). But in other parts of the world, this phenomenon is nothing new.
Take for example Moymoy Palaboy, a duo from the Philippines consists of James Ronald and Rodfil. In the year 2007, these sisters upload some videos to YouTube, they both contain lipsync popular songs. Videos are watched by millions of people from various countries, until finally Moymoy Palaboy contracted by record companies and television stations. From "just" YouTube superstar, James and Rodfil now become a real superstar in the Philippines.
Another example of a more extreme? Justin Bieber.
Yup! 16-year-old singer who always makes the abege this hysteria would not be famous if not for YouTube. Since childhood, his talent in music was already prominent. He even won two in a singing competition in her town. Sang's mother, Pattie Mallette, then upload a video appearance at the contest Justin to YouTube, so family and friends can watch the other. (Check out his video here)
It was not just family and friends who watched, but also millions of other YouTube users are fascinated by the golden voice Justin. One of the spectators it is Scooter Braun, who then volunteered to be a manager Justin and get a recording contract for this thick-haired singer.
Starting from YouTube, Justin Bieber now become an international superstar, idol of teenage girls in almost all corners of the world.

Is that so simple a superstar today? Capitalize simple video and internet connection?
Of course not. Candidates must have a superstar superstar quality equipment. In the case of Sprott and Jojo, their physical appearance is fantastic and not fail with soap star would be one deciding factor. Justin Bieber, too. Not only a stunning voice, her face was cute, in accordance with the type of guy craving teenage girls. Moymoy Palaboy may not exactly handsome, but they can make people laugh (now their career as an actor and singer comedy parody in the Philippines).
My other friend yesterday asking, "If I continue to sing Daydream conch uploaded on YouTube, I'm going to be a Trending Topic also did not ya?"
My friend is a father of two children grown long hair, so my answer was, of course, "No way."
But above all, the most determining factor is luck aka luck. After all, there are hundreds (even more) lipsync video on YouTube that played by pretty girls. Even many of those who really sings with melodious voice. But why would that really be a "superstar" only Sprott and Jojo?
